Welcome to 2011’s Secret Santa art trade!

Here’s how this is going to work!

• This Secret Santa project is where you will gift an assigned person a piece of art you’ve drawn! Someone else will do so for you, too. For the subject of the drawing, you will pick from your recipient’s wish list!
• Although this tumblr’s name is “animangasecretsanta,” art drawn is not limited to anime/manga. Anime/manga is just a common starting point! You can put on your wish list any anime/manga/comic/webcomic/etc. you’d like.
• Please apply by November 20, 2011! Just leave a link to your art blog (or art tag) in our ask box.
• On November 25, 2011, we will send you your (random) Secret Santa recipient! Of course, you’re free to gift to anyone else on the participating list if you’d like!
• Between December 20 to December 27, 2011, please leave the link to your Secret Santa gift in your recipient’s ask box! It’s understandable if you’re not able to be online exactly on Christmas Day, so we’re giving you a window to give your gift. We’re going to go by the honor system here, so please, please, PLEASE don’t be flaky!
• Please make sure your ask box or submissions box is enabled!
• When making your wish list, please provide at least three options! It’s nice to have variety! Also, please state if BL/GL/NSFW works are okay with you. (Of course, it’ll be up to the artist whether or not he/she will draw something explicit!) Please complete your wish list by December 1, 2011.
• If you can, please provide a reference to the characters/series you are requesting, in case it’s an obscure character/series or in case your artist isn’t familiar with the character/series.

Disclaimers:

• This is the first time we’re attempting this Secret Santa project, so we’re not sure how many people will participate. In case we get an overwhelming amount of people (not likely), we might not be able to accept everyone… (There are only two people running this project!)
• All questions will be answered privately! Anonymous questions at the moment are not enabled to prevent trolling (wwwww). But we’ll enable them later!

November 25, 2011 - Announcement of your Secret Santa recipient (We’ll notify you via your ask box)

December 1, 2011 - Wishlist deadline

December 20-27, 2011 - Present your Secret Santa gift to your recipient!
